equate is a London-based software company focused on invoice processing and reconciliation for the travel industry. We are newly launched, pre-seed backed, and running an Early Access Programme with a small group of design partners.
We built equate because travel businesses receive invoices in formats that general-purpose tools cannot handle well. Supplier invoices from cruise lines, tour operators, and GDS systems require specialist knowledge to extract and reconcile accurately. We put that knowledge into three AI agents and a workflow platform built around how travel finance teams actually work.

Invoices carry commercial terms, bank details and passenger names. We hold ourselves to the standard your own auditors would apply — certified, independently tested, and written down in a Trust Centre you can read before you ever speak to us.
GDPR compliant
We process personal data under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Where we handle data on your behalf we act as your processor, under a Data Processing Agreement setting out purpose, sub-processors, security measures and deletion.
Comprehensively penetration tested
Our application has been through a comprehensive penetration test by an independent security firm. The report is available to review under NDA.
Secure product and infrastructure
AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.2+ in transit, no plaintext path. Every customer's data is isolated by Postgres row-level security — enforced at the database, not in application code. Every change is peer-reviewed and scanned before it ships.
Your data never leaves the region
Customer data is hosted and processed in the UK or EU, and stays in the region agreed at onboarding. Your invoices are never used to train shared models — your corrections tune your results only.
Enterprise-grade retention
You set the retention period, from three months to seven years, and whether expiry redacts the personal detail or removes the record outright. Legal hold suspends disposal, a nightly sweep enforces it, and every disposal is audit-logged.
Cyber Essentials certified
Certified across the whole organisation under the UK government-backed scheme covering the five core technical controls, and renewed annually. The certificate is available on request.
On the ISO 27001 pathway
We are building a formal ISMS and collecting evidence against ISO 27001 now, with SOC 2 Type II on the same track. The infrastructure underneath us already holds both, evidenced on request.
